Habitat for Humanity
I was presented with an opportunity from my professor to work with Habitat for Humanity in April of 2024. I was told they need 3 new computers set up with the software and personalization for the employees. I accepted as I thought this would not be a hard task and should be a good learning moment for me. I was wrong about it being an easy task, when I arrived there were multiple accounts that I had trial and error with when I was attempting to log into the new computers. After a while I finally got into the computers, was able to create new accounts, and personalize each computer. However, something I was not expecting to teach myself was the Office 365 Admin Panel. I was told there was a new hire starting in a week and the lady there did not know how to create an account for her. I taught myself how to create a new user with an email and password, and also had to re-license several accounts as there were only so many liceses for the company.
